Fat grafting, also known as fat transfer, repositioning or lipoinjection, is a process in which fat cells are removed from one part of the body and injected into another. Fat grafting can address hollowness in the upper eyelids and brows and in the cheeks, nasolabial folds, mid-face sagging, thinning lips with lines around the mouth, and a jawline that has lost its definition.

Fat grafting can also be used for filling in the tops of hands between the tendons and veins giving hands a more youthful appearance.
